Reverie Candle Making Workshops had the pleasure of delivering a corporate candle making workshop at Alfa Financial Systems to celebrate Diwali, the Festival of Light.
Attendees took a well deserved pause from their busy schedules to unwind, connect and create beautifully fragrant soy wax candles, marking the occasion in a way that felt both meaningful and mindful. The workshop created space for colleagues to step away from their calendars, mingle with one another and enjoy a shared creative experience.
Candle making felt like a natural choice for Diwali, a festival traditionally celebrated with the lighting of diyas to symbolise light, hope and renewal. Through scent and creativity, the workshop honoured the spirit of the festival while offering a calming, hands-on activity suited to a corporate setting.
Delivering this session was particularly special. Being able to represent and celebrate a marginalised community within the workplace through my business is something I deeply value. Diversity, inclusion and cultural recognition are principles Reverie Candle Making Workshops have always stood for, and it was an honour to bring those values into a corporate environment.
It was an absolute pleasure curating a thoughtful and celebratory experience for such a warm and welcoming group at Alfa Financial Systems. Events like this highlight how creative workshops can support wellbeing, inclusion and connection within the workplace.
