Mother’s Day at Reverie

Mother’s Day at Reverie

The first fragrance you ever wore was probably your mum’s. For me, it was Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, a scent I still associate with school run mornings and watching her get ready for the day ahead. I’d always reach for a spritz myself until she bought me my own bottle. That’s the beauty of fragrance, it captures moments, memories, and emotions in a way nothing else quite can.

So for Mother’s Day, it felt only right to bring that magic to life through our candle making workshops. After the incredible response last year, we returned with not one, but two candle making workshops in Shoreditch, the heart of London’s creative scene.

We welcomed mums, sons and daughters of all ages, each pair creating something uniquely their own. It was beautiful to watch, some families shared identical scent preferences, instinctively drawn to the same notes, while others couldn’t have been more different, carefully choosing contrasting blends to reflect their individuality and to keep things interesting at home. Each candle became more than just a fragrance, it became a memory, a moment, a story.

Mother’s Day holds a special place in our hearts at Reverie. It’s a celebration of love, care, and the women who shape us. Reverie itself wouldn’t exist without my mum, her belief, her support, and her encouragement laid the foundation for everything we’ve built. That’s why we’re so passionate about creating experiences that make every mum feel truly cherished.

You don’t have to wait for Mother’s Day to celebrate her. Our candle making workshops run throughout the year and we also offer private bookings, perfect for creating your own meaningful moments, whenever you choose.
