There’s something quietly magical about choosing to slow down in January.
While the world rushes headfirst into the new year, this weekend a beautiful group of dreamers gathered to do something different: to pause, reflect, and quite literally create how they want 2026 to feel.
Our New Year, New Candle Making Workshop brought together people from all walks of life: a couple celebrating a birthday, a long distance couple finally spending precious time together, old friends catching up and new connections being made over wax and fragrance, and those new to London, finding warmth, creativity, and community in the middle of winter.
Each person arrived with their own story, and left with a candle infused with intention.
Dreamers were invited to blend fragrances that represented the year ahead: calm, clarity, softness, confidence, joy. Some chose fresh and cleansing notes, others leaned into warmth, sweetness, or depth. No two candles were the same, because no two visions for the year were the same.
It was a reminder that scent has the power to anchor memories, mark transitions, and become a quiet ritual in everyday life.
This workshop felt especially meaningful as it marked the beginning of a new chapter for Reverie.
We’re so excited to now call 6:15 The Studio our creative residence. An intimate, light filled space that effortlessly exudes luxury, it felt like the perfect setting for intentional making. The studio allowed for slower conversations, thoughtful creation, and a sense of ease that made everyone feel instantly at home.
For the first time, dreamers were also able to browse and purchase from our Reverie candle collection, stocked right here in the studio. It meant that even if someone committed to one final candle during the workshop, they could still take home the scents that lingered in their hearts.
Gentle conversations between strangers, moments of reflection, and shared excitement about what’s to come. Proof that creativity has a way of bringing people together, especially in a city that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
As we step into this new year, and into our new home at 6:15 The Studio, we’re reminded why we do this work: to create spaces where people can dream, connect, and make something meaningful.
Here’s to candles that smell like intention, and a year that feels just as good.
