Reverie Candle officially arrived in Birmingham, and what better way to mark the milestone than with a themed candle making workshop in collaboration with The Space for Girls, a Birmingham based organisation dedicated to creating safe, inclusive spaces for girls and young women to connect, create and grow.
Girlies were invited to create a candle inspired by either an iced matcha latte or an iced coffee, complete with realistic layered wax details that mimicked their favourite café drinks.
Alongside the candle making, girlies enjoyed barista made beverages, fully immersing themselves in the theme. The combination of hands-on creativity and café culture made the workshop feel both relaxed and exciting, offering something a little different from a traditional candle making class.
By the end of the session, each participant left with a beautifully crafted candle and a new creative skill they could be proud of.
Beyond candle making, the workshop created space for socialising, confidence building and community. The girls were encouraged to mix and mingle, meet new people and enjoy conversation in a safe, welcoming environment.
Many attendees arrived on their own and left having made new friends, which perfectly reflected the purpose of the collaboration. Creative workshops like this offer more than just an activity. They provide opportunities for connection, self-expression and shared experiences.
