Two years ago, we hosted our very first candle making workshop in London. Next week, we’re coming home. Reverie is opening the doors to our new boutique in Northamptonshire, welcoming Dreamers from Tuesday to Saturday into a space created for fragrance, creativity and a little escapism.
At Reverie, fragrance is the starting point for an experience that is entirely your own. Come and make a candle, blend your own perfume or discover our Bath & Body fragrance experience, where you can create a bespoke scent for your bath salts and body cream. And, of course, you can shop our collection of hand-poured soy wax candles, each made by us in small batches.
With more than 30 fragrances to explore, there is plenty to discover. You might arrive knowing exactly what you want to create, or you might find yourself drawn to a fragrance you never expected to love. Either way, you’re encouraged to experiment, layer scents and make something that feels unmistakably yours.
Reverie has been designed to feel aesthetically pleasing without ever feeling intimidating; elevated, but warm and inclusive. Each experience has just six spaces, creating an intimate setting where you can slow down, get creative and enjoy the company of the people around you.
In fact, my favourite part of Reverie has always been the people you meet along the way. There is something rather lovely about sitting alongside complete strangers, choosing fragrances together, comparing creations and leaving with something you made yourself.
That is what I hope Reverie becomes in Northampton: somewhere you want to return to, not simply because you enjoyed the experience, but because there is always another fragrance to discover and another combination to create.
Today, it might be a candle. Next time, your signature perfume. Before long, you might look around your bathroom and realise that your bath salts, body cream and home fragrance have all been custom scented by you.
